I vastly prefer Cartographers over this game still. (3 plays, 7/10): A good flip and write game about real estate building. May need more plays but I think I prefer the simplicity of the regular roles over the 5+ premium ones. They actually meant business when they say premium edition because jesus those components are hella good. Love letter (+premium edition) (3 plays, 8/10): A quick filler game that is pretty entertaining. We had some problems on how the words are way too americanized (we're in Australia), but that was doesn't deter us from enjoying the game overall, highly recommended in anyone's party games collection. Brings about lots of laughter and fun to the table.

Werewords (10 plays, 8/10): This is a very entertaining party game of werewolf with a word guessing twist.

I really do not see why anyone should play this over cryptid. In Cryptid, you get a very balanced knowledge/clues right from the start to end because it's all public knowledge, it feels fair and satisfying. Then eventually the game reveals 3 clues randomly from the preset clue deck, and you better pray to the RNG gods that your clue that you discarded doesn't show up, otherwise you'll be behind as it's revealed to everyone. You could also somehow get your clues that you originally have back when trading other people, it's awful. The concept is cool, but the gameplay just seem to boil down to hoping that you got a good trade of clues from other people.

You'll see people using bold to highlight games, that gives the opportunity to interact with /u/r2d8, a bot that can be used to grab data from BGG on games included in a post.
